Lost Everything - Ruined by Google - Should I Fix or Rebuild on New Shopping Cart
So with that said - the website that was hit by google almost 2 years ago and still alive and kicking but mainly due to the fact that I have a huge repeat customer base. My traffic has dropped I say 80% over the last 2 years.
Anyway, my shopping cart is Obsolete, it's Cubecart 3. I have been wanting to upgrade and move the site to a more robust shopping cart for years. I'm tired of having to pay a coder everytime I need something fixed on it. I just want an online solution.
So I was thinking about BigCommerce, Volusion or Shopify. BigCommerce being my top choice so far based on research.
So my question is - will moving my site hurt or help it? Or should I just keep that site up - and create a brand new site and brand new url and let my customers know here is the new site? Maybe the new site will stand a better chance since not hit by google.
