Any highly recommended drop-ship companies yet? I have yet to find one I can trust that ship within 24 hours and hardly run out of stock. I have had to cancel two transactions AFTER paying for a drop ship product, get a confirmation on the order, only to wait 3 days for an updated email saying the product is out of stock. What a hassle. And if affects my DSR on eBay.

    The only person you can rely on is yourself and that will always be an issue with drop-shipping,in fact,you are literally playing Russian roulette with two barrels loaded,first you have to rely on the buying partner to ship punctually and then you have to rely on the logistics company doing the right thing------------just as an example,i had my bank cards sent to me by DHL on friday morning from Germany to Spain, €57.00, next day delivery in EU---no sign of it, would have been just has fast with the €1 post!!


    Maybe you could look at sourcing locally and get them to drop ship,if its on the net others too can use google and find the same product at the lower price,it´s all become too marginal!

      Dropshipping is not only risky because your business is entirely in the hands of someone else, but your margins are so small that you are working as cheap labor for the dropship wholesaler.

      You might consider taking control of your own business with a very small outlay on inventory. I have taught hundreds of people in 35 countries how to safely buy small quantities direct from genuine manufacturers (mostly in China) and many have have been amazed at the huge profit margins.

    No "Dropshipping" company is worthwhile. Deal with authorized distributors and manufacturers directly and you never run into these issues. But guess what, none of them will advertise themselves as "Dropshipping" companies.
