Hello warriors, i am not a website expert or a programmer but recently i have been thinking about something like this.
A friend referred me to a site through his affiliate link, and after 7 days, whenever i visit the site through the url without any aff link, it still shows invited by my friend. So am thinking is it possible to develop a plugin or an Amazon aff store that does the samething, like after a buyer visit your store and then visit Amazon, you will have your aff link cookied in the buyer browser of something like that. what do you think?

When you click the affiliate link, it's already saving a cookie on your browser. Most affiliate programs work this way, that's how they track the affiliate referrals. Not sure I understand if you're asking something different though.

i mean let's say you have a Nichie store that sells baby wears and a buyer visit your store without buying, this buyer then visit a Amazon.com (without your aff link) and buys some other stuff. Is there a way to place a cookie on the buyers browser so that you still receive commission on products the buyer purchase even though he did not buy from your affiliate store.

It is a bit like using the add to cart function of amazon as opposed to just sending traffic to the link.

Most affiliate software can cookie a prospect and it all depends on the settings as to whether you want first referrer or last referrer.

A lot of big launches have people who "bonus shop" before buying so it can be important to ensure you have a suitable system in place that the affiliates are aware of. That is why on many pages you will see "Please follow these instructions to ensure you get my bonus" Step ONE clear cookies.
