Having trouble finding suppliers - Frustrated!

Hi guys,

So I have several niches selected I would like to get into to but I am having real trouble finding suppliers here in the UK.

All I can find on esources.co.uk appear to be middle men dropshippers with a few products with no great pricing and not real trade wholesalers. I used to work in retail so know how real wholesalers operate but I cannot seem to find real wholesalers for the goods I want to sell.

Getting really frustrated as it is the one thing holding me back from making my site and begin promotion.

I have tried esources.co.uk and also google but can't seem to find real suppliers. I don't really trust the dropshippers that come up as a lot of them want subscriptions and have a poor stock and small range and I know this is not how real wholesalers operate.

Any advice on finding suppliers?

    Hi

    Well, it all depends what kind of products you looking for.
    I'm also based in the UK and when searching for suppliers I find this is alot
    more easy to find them in US than in the UK when doing a normal search.

    What you need to do is drilling down on your search not just go for google
    and search but look for other sites that sell the same products you looking
    for and try to find who supply them.
    This is what I use to do to find the supplyers for the products I needed.

      I used esources.co.uk at the beginning, It didn't gave me any results at all. Can You elborate what kind of products are You looking for? Are You only looking for UK based suppliers?

    I'm guessing you're solely using the Internet to find suppliers right now? It's a useful way of finding them for sure but have you tried actually cold calling folks by phone? or indeed visiting suppliers in person?

    Sometimes it pays to go offline, attend trade fairs, meet people over a coffee etc.
