Greetings everyone,

I am in search of an drop shipper for alcohol beverages. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have been searching for a bit but haven't had much luck as of yet. Thanks! Much appreciated!

I think that alcoholic beverages may be darn near impossible to source through the dropship model, simply because there are all sorts of regulations related to it. I believe you need special permits to transport alcohol across state/country lines. On top of that, I believe RETAILERS also need special permits to retail alcohol, so there's all sorts of red tape you'd have to go through to do so (if it's possible AT ALL!).

That's right. I'm in the wine industry and you need a permit to ship wine across the state here in CA.. It's very hard to ship wine across the country.

What kind of permit is needed? I want to sell alcoholic beverages online, what sort of regulations will I be facing.

I'm guessing this is a dead end and probably a waste of your time to even look into. That said, if it were me I would start off by asking the shipping providers (i.e. USPS, UPS & FedEx). They can probably tell you what the regulations are because they have to verify that you have the right permits before they are allowed to ship for you.

Wholesale Distributors require license and regulation, distributing alcoholic beverages is quiet impossible unless you get licensed in your state.
