Merchant Account Needed

I have a site amazingecoproducts.com offering AWGs, or atmospheric water generators, where I am a wholesaler, and the owning company would ship on my behalf. I believe it's drop ship. Never done this before.

I am somewhat technical savvy, so I created it all up through Wordpress and woocommerce. I paid for and set up an SSL certificate, and using woocommerce, I selected Simplify for the payment processor.

Recently, I received a letter from Simplify's partner, Priority Payment Systems, stating they have canceled the Merchant Processing Agreement. I called them to find out more, and they stated something about the business model and the dollar amount, and they won't reverse their decision.

Again, I am new at this. I've actually never sold a unit, but I want to work on the site and and re-set up ecommerce again, so I can. I don't want to have to go through being cancelled again, so I am open to suggestions and solutions.

Thanks.

Not all merchant banks will accept your business model. Each one generally has a very specific list of what they don't allow. Sometimes, it may not only be the type of item your selling, but maybe it's a subscription based model, which some can view as high risk.

In any case, don't try to trick any of these banks, because if they catch you and terminate your account and place you on the TMF - you won't be getting another merchant account anytime soon. Follow the rules for each one and you won't have issues in the future. Best bet is to search google for different merchant banks and find out which one's would be willing to accept whatever it is your trying to sell.

LOL, people he's looking for a new payment processor not an ecommerce platform. Both are different things. eCommerce platform lets you host your products and payment processor integrates into the ecommerce platform to process the payments when someone buys the products.

@pranam: Have you tried Paypal? It's the simplest and easiest way to go specially when you are on WP/WooCommerce and selling in USD.

Check also kooziekart [dot] .com. They are waiving all setup fees on new merchant accounts through the end of September. They support several payment processors if you need someone more lenient on the business model (e.g. EasyPayDirect vs. PayPal or Authorize.net). Yes, you don't want to get put on the TMF. Be careful of merchant account companies who will take risky models that don't have a solid (read long history) of processing.

Does anybody have any suggestions of a reliable creditcard/gateway processor that would accept an honest online tech support company? I realize that online techsupport is on a list of high risk, but my company has a positive transactional history with a chargeback ratio of 1.9% over the last 7 months..
Paypal just shut me down after 1 year & 4 months & is holding $14,400 USD & will only release it in 6 months, so they say.
Paypal are the biggest crooks having thousands of complaints registered against them on various forums ..
