Hello Fellow Warriors,
I'm considering purchasing some ready made turn key/white label type websites. Has anyone had any success with these or would you consider building these type of site on my own. How hard is it to drive traffic to these as well?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

You can buy turnkey websites, but you must replace all the content in it so that it appears unique to the search engines. Otherwise it is close to useless, unless you are a geek in driving traffic through social media or ppc.

Well, it sounds great that you are thinking about turn key/white label type websites. For better traffic, I would like to suggest you, you need to go with SEO and SEM strategies. Both are the best ways to generate huge traffic to your website.

The thing with this model... you have to know where the traffic is coming from before you buy it. I hear all the time.. I bought this site it was making $1000 a month, and 3 weeks after I bought it, the traffic tanked.

The idea of selling sites is to either make it profitable.. then why would you sell it? or make it "appear" to be profitable - more like show it "could be profitable"

So you need to do your homework and figure out where the traffic is coming from. is the traffic social traffic? is the traffic run through a redirect before getting to the site ( I see this a lot )

Is the traffic coming from Solo Ads, or some other kind of e-mail marketing?

How well is the site ranked in the serps... let alone is it even listed? ( saw this recently for a 8 month old site being sold that was turning good numbers )

If it appears that the sites traffic is "paid" or could easily be shut off.. well you are better of starting from scratch- or at least that is my opinion. But then again I am a firm believer that there are many issues with online business' but traffic should never be one of them... its just to easy to get traffic!

  • I would suggest you to use a fresh website with your own content. This would be a better investment.

To earn online you need a website that has monetization ability. If your goal is to earn a passive income or just supplement your income then buying a turnkey business website is right option for you. As it tough to start from scratch, a turnkey website gives you a head start.
