Drop Shipping

I've been doing some looking into drop shipping. My thoughts were to start by selling some items on Ebay and then to get a website going with several different items.


While looking around, I've seen most people talking about using drop ship companies, but I've also seen people talking about selling Amazon's products on Ebay. I'm wondering if anyone here does that? I don't see how that could be very profitable.


Also, I was thinking of doing this on a personal level-not creating a business or anything like that.


I guess I'm just looking for direction from experienced drop shippers and what your thoughts are on this?

    IN MY OPINION, drop shippers make money selling advice and eBooks to people who want to start a drop shipping business. Many companies charge fees to drop ship.

    Starting an e-commerce site is pretty easy and inexpensive. If I manufacture birdhouses, why can't I put up a site and sell them myself? Why do I need to do all the work and split the profit with you?

    If you look at the sex toy business, almost all of them charge a drop ship fee. With credit card fees and the hassle to trying to get traffic, it doesn't seem worth it. Especially if you don't do it full time.
