    TERAPEAK is a good tool i used to do market research for ebay and amazon. Even though its more suited for ebay sellers it does allow you to use it for amazon also. They offer a free trial for you to try it out

    I recently developed chrome extension that make it much easier for you to research for products to sell on Amazon. It called 'AMZ Seller Browser' and it is completely free.

    Both Jungle Scout and Eglim are good, but also make sure to check it with your own eyes, check the best sellers in the category, read their reviews...see what is potentially missing in their products.

    My advice would be to use the software to narrow down your niche but decide on it by using your eyes and brain.
