Ebay Listing Views Are Not Converting!

Don't know what can be wrong. I had 200 views on my listing the last day, but 0 purchases.
The product is good, the price is not too big, description is also good. I see some competitors are making way more sales with a lot worse listing. Maybe they have additional traffic sources? What might stop me from selling?

What does your eBay feedback look like? Are you doing free shipping or paid shipping? What country are you shipping from? PM your link to the item and I'll give you some feedback.

This is the same thing that is happening to me. I have items with over a hundred views, but I am still not getting a huge conversion. I am just starting out with eBay so my feedback is not large. My feedback is all good, but I just don't have a lot.

You might need to make your listing appear more eye catching. Look at what your winning competitors are doing and do similar.

  • Okay, it's not your feedback.

More than likely it isn't your photos either. They are getting the clicks.

Also, assuming that your price/format has been researched correctly, then I now EXACTLY where your problem is.

    It's your description.

Well, it's CALLED the description, but I do not agree with that term. You shouldn't ever describe your items. (Imagine buying Cheerios if the box only said: "Little brown circles you eat in the morning!" Wouldn't sell.)

Now, your description needs calls to action. It need visual appeal. It needs to be written in a conversational and engaging tone.

Now here's what most people forget: Your 'brand funnel.'

This isn't just a policy section, but it's where they are mentioned. From here, you get to massacre your competition. You have a better shipping/payment/return/contact/customer service policies.

You have to create your 'description' box SO well that it compels people to buy from you.

You need to have your visitors fall on their knees, tears streaming from their face, begging to buy from you! You will successfully convince them that you are the greatest eBayer that has ever lived.

Good luck! We're all rooting for your success!
