Amazon , More profit or more Sales ?

Hello ,

I am a newbie (17 years old) Who started eCommerce since i was 13 years old because i needed a source of money to fund my projects (I am planning on recording 2 patents ) .
I have always had this question on amazon ..

What is better ...
Lets say for example the lowest price for an item is 25$ .
Should i sell it for 23$ ?
Or should i sell it for 12$ ?

I make profit either ways .
But i think the lower price will create more sales .
Please give me your opinions .

    If private labeling, sell for 24 until you have enough reviews to prove your product is better them raise your price over that of your competitior

    If reselling, sell for about 17-23 depending on how much stock you have. Aim for the middle.

    Old business was big profits on smaller sales.

    New business is much lower profits but bigger volume.

    Many huge compnaiues work on 2-3% profit but when you are dealing in billions it adds up.

      What sort of companies are actually running with these low margins. The only things I can think of are grocery stores, but people are buying a lot at once.
