What % of your FBA products are evergreen?

Newbie at the edge of the pool here, holding my nose and just about to jump in. I have been struggling with analysis paralysis for some time now, and I am going to start small with only one or two products. I know that there are FBA gurus out here who can help me with this, and any time you take to share your knowledge, wisdom and experience is and will be greatly appreciated.


On the topic of selling several products, I was curious...how much emphasis would you put on selecting evergreen products? Some on this forum stress that it's almost mandatory for continued income, but others say it's not necessary. Some who sell multiple products have a % of their products that will always be evergreen. What are your thoughts?


Am I worried about the wrong thing?

    I never think about whether a product is evergreen. I usually look at camelcamelcamel and want to see a product that sells frequently or one that has sold regularly but now has low competition. The margin I can make and the frequency of sales are my indicators for a good item.

      Dwater you can also use Eglim for this purpose. With eglim you can track keywords and products on any of the Amazon market place.

    Doesn't matter.

    All my amazon products are 'evergreen'. However it's just as feasible to build a long-term, sustainable business with a portfolio of seasonal products. Just cover all the seasons.
