Want to get Start with Affiliate Marketing

Hi,

I am willing to get start with promoting few health related products but I do not know how and where to start,

Should I just create videos and promote links through them?
Should I have a website for it?
or I just promote links through social platforms?

    I would say three things: make it easy, make it fun, and make a list.

    1. Make it easy: Don't get bogged down in doing too much or else you may not get going. As an example, my offering requires no work on the affiliate's side - just sign up and send an email to your list.
    2. Make it fun: Work with something you enjoy or that you are passionate about.
    3. Make a list: you need a list to market to.

    Start with having your own website and then you can promote your own products on your own website.

      Keep things as simple as possible when starting out & learn the basics which are:

      - Traffic. Paid & free to your blog
      - Blog. To brand yourself
      - Build a list from your blog to build a relationship & help your subscribers
      - Find products to promote that convert well into sales
      - Find a successful mentor

      There are lots of other directions you could go in, though this is a proven method.

    For me it is better to have your own website since you have full control of your content. You can also make your own videos and place this on your website.

    There are a lot of things you can do when you have your own website. You can also start your own newsletters to build your list-- another way to promote your affiliate products.

    Really you may work with affiliate programs. For example, in Amazon affiliate club you will find step-by-step instructions on how to create and promote your own online-store! Besides, Amazon is a marketplace with a variety of stuff!

    I also have a health / human consciousness blog. Feel free to see how I am building my site.

    Start out with a free wix website. It's drag and drop design. A mobile version of your site is created at the same time as you create the desktop site. That is what I am using to create and test out multiple websits/blogs for free.

    When you have a central location to post all your information and products, it is easy to distribute out to social media and forums bring traffic to your site. Wix has an option to capture email addresses with a pop up window.

    SEO, tags, and social media share buttons help to bring free traffic back to your site.

    Making videos is always a great way to get free traffic but you can use youtube videos that are already online to help promote your products. You can see how I promoted products on my blog by helping educate people on specific subjects with other youtube videos that are directly and indirectely related to subject.
