
Bulk Listing & Inventory Management
I know there are many other small businesses that do this sort of thing, but since I am new to this space, I have no idea how they manage and process inventory of this magnitude. MY background is in accounting and finance.
Obviously we would purchase scanners and some software for inventory tracking, but I have heard that you have to purchase (or create) databases for your scanners. I assume a retailer such as Amazon would offer databases for purchase or at least another company would. Our first containers will be Amazon returns, so having their inventory database would be key.
So the main things I am trying to figure out are what things I need to purchase with respect to: inventory software, scanners, inventory databases, etc. Also, if there is anything else I should know or any other information I'm leaving out, I would appreciate the help!
