      Are you in a position to help serve the B2B on a larger scale, or better setup to develop your B2C model.

      What exactly you are trying to accomplish, and in what niche would be helpful information.

  • B2C is easy to convert as you know who the end user is and therefore you can design your strategies accordingly. B2B is a bit difficult to convert, but the total cost and ROI is better than B2C.

    Does a guy selling apples out of his backyard make more or less than someone selling industrial printers? It depends on how much each of the products cost and how many are being moved.

    Find your niche, figure out your profit margins, and then market to your target audience. B2B, B2C doesn't matter in the research stage.

  • I agree with Dave. I have been in eCommerce, Drop shipping, and systems technology for the past year and I have seen both B to B and B to C scale nicely together. Lydia perhaps you should put more detail into the original post so we can understand the industry. Since your a computing company with tech know how are you just trying to increase posts or is this a real opportunity?
  • Well profitable can be both it depends on how much you can control. If you can manage work load than best option is to go for both B2B and B2C

  • B2B sales prospects are very different from B2C. B2B sales prospects are found in small vertical markets require consultative selling and take longer to sell. B2B sales are "higher" sales driven by a rational sales approach that requires developing personal relationships. The payoff for B2B sales prospects is a high lifetime customer value.
