Do I have to access to amazon buyer database for people who bought my amazon products? Meaning can I contact them from time to time via email if I have new products of deals?

    1. No.

Amazon protects its database of customers very closely. This is to stop sellers starting to spam people who bought from amazon.

Amazon see them as their customers and not your's. Customers may have bought your product but it's being sold on amazon's platform.

    2. Yes (partly).

Although amazon protects its database of buyers, we have emailed customers using an api that we use that is integrated (legitimately) into the amazon system. We use it very carefully and we do not use it to 'sell' other products (we use it as customer contact for the product we sold only).

However we have devised a method that takes them off this system, contacts customers and makes new offers (which I can't divulge here).

Hope this clarifies (at least a little).

    Good luck with your venture.

Is it okay to have a separate sign up, like a "newsletter" sign up, for people who visit the site? Assuming I would have some value in the niche to provide for them.
