Tax concerns and business structure for FBA?..

Hey guys..

I've just finished an e-commerce site and I'll be shipping items from Thailand to Amazon storage facilities in Canada and the United States (to start)..

I'm a bit of a digital nomad and spend most of my time travelling to various regions of the world.

In other words, I don't have "residential" ties to a specific country (I'm not American)..

Where do you think would be the ideal region to structure my company?

I was thinking Hong Kong due to the favourable tax laws, and because it's close to China where I could source new products..

I also spend most of my time in Asia so Hong Kong is inexpensive to get too..

Am I right in assuming that it's unnecessary to form companies in the countries I will be storing and selling products from, and that I can just become a "non-resident importer" using the business number from a Hong Kong corp?

I'm new to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks in advance,

And what did your tax attorney tell you would be the ideal structure?
