Thanks to those who have assisted me so far with helping me achieve my attempt at a 4 hour work week. Things are going very smoothly!

Now, I have a question about selling on forums. My distributor and I have had a discussion of selling in a certain forum containing a very targeted group of people. I wanted to know if anyone one would care to share how they market in forums. How should I approach without appearing spammy?

    2 basic marketing strategy is

    1. Use your signature link
    2. Share useful content, so people will be interested in you.

I guess it will be hard to be completely un-spammy. My strategy would be the same as offered by @avtaarsid + once in a while still post more or less direct promo posts in the threads where they will look OK. But not more than 1 for like 7-10 neutral relevant posts not mentioning your business.

Selling your products directly may work little, try to put your website in your signature

  • You may need to register as vendor or dealer. Some forums get a bit testy if you post sales links when you are not "a sponsoring" member.

    Hope that helps a bit!
