Selling Food Online

What advice do you all have for selling food online?

I'm in the process of making some awesome fruitcakes and would like to see them online as well as at the local flea market.

I was thinking of doing a landing page like website with yummy pictures instead of something like Shopify... does that sound good?

    Why not Shopify? Agree with you that you should have a site. Great way for potential new customers to find you and get a feel for the types of goodies you can make!

    I know there are bakers selling cookies/cake pops/etc on Etsy. I think most of their sales are bulk orders for parties...at least, that's how it appears. At any rate, Etsy may be a good option, since shop owners are already successfully selling food there, and you wouldn't have to worry about building a site.
