  • It depends who builds it You could look at a managed solution like Bigcommerce if you want to spend too much time on this. I'd say Magento is the most most robust product from those you mentionned. But does require experience to setup and dev properly. HTH.

      As far as security though, the script you use is only part of the equation. You also need a good server - vps for added security, SSL, and a good host.

  • In my opinion the best eCommerce platform is PrestaShop. Too bad you didn`t mention it. It has the edge in most of the key areas, including security.

    I'll go with WooCommerce. No recurring monthly fees and it's as secure as you make it. There are plenty of security plugins, both paid and free, for Wordpress. I've never had a problem.

  • As you mentioned above eCommerce platform, Magento, Oscommerce, Zen Cart and XCart. I prefer Magento. Magento is a good & secure platform compared to other that you mentioned.

    You can also check Yo!Kart, it's new eCommerce platform. It is a secure platform & better option for a mid-size eCommerce store.
