There's plenty of products in the $1-3 price range that sell's well.
Now it all depends what category you are looking for.

However think again about your product-selection method: a simple price range shouldn't be your starting point when looking for a product to re-sell; it certainly is something to bear in mind, but I consider to be way more important factors such as markup & margin

You should make a list of the kind of products you want to sell, to what target group. If you have that, then you can start searching on aliexpress, because they have a lot of cheap products in every range.

it's depend on the market , city and the peoples demand you need to study that first before send anything about drop shipping .

Is there a way I can streamline my searches on aliexpress to give me that price range? For instance, ebay allow you search for products by price ranges, but I do not see same on aliexpress.

I don' know much about it but I would go for pet stuff and toys.

Before you buy from the retail site Aliexpress, have a look at the bad reports on Ripoffreport.

You might change your mind.

Have you considered a real business, buying a small amount of inventory direct from manufacturers in China? The margins will amaze you.
