How to get reviews for a boring low value item on Amazon?

Does anyone have great ideas how to get reviews for a boring low value item on Amazon? The product in question is a private label household product that is already selling regularly even without reviews which is nice but I would like to get some reviews to really get it going. Unfortunately it seems that this kind of product is even less likely to get organic reviews than more interesting products.

I contacted Amazon top reviewers but out of 50 not a single one wanted to review it (usually roughly 50% of them have said yes and have reviewed my products). Ps. I'm not in the US so can't really leverage friends or relatives. All suggestions are more than welcome!

    Hi if you are willing to give some of them for free in a return for a honest review then you can get people to buy them with a code that you create what will put the total purchase to zero and after they receive it they will right there review

      You could also sign-up to some Review Club such as Snagshout or AMZtracker: give away your product for free (or $1) and you'll get un unbiased review back.

      It worked out pretty well for me using the second I mentioned.

    I think it's about the copy writing , change the traditional way that everyone thinks about it,you will have a new product concept which engage visitors to read and buy
