5 Questions Regarding E-Store

There's friends who asked me to build an e-store for their startup family business in "glitter glasses" niche. So I have a few questions regarding it:

1. How does dispatching works? Let's say our e-store sends us a dispatch request, then we pack the item and then what? How we actually ship it to the customer? What is the best shipment company in UK for small business?

2. What payment method should we set up? Is credit card payment is enough? Should we set up Paypal as well?

3. If they live in UK, should we target UK or European customer only, or even world-wide? What is the key difference? Is revenue depend on it directly?

4. How to know the exact monthly searches for a certain keyword?

Does this number signify the monthly searches?

5. If we decide to target UK customers only, should we use ".com" or "co.uk". To the same, why Bluehost doesn't have "co.uk"?

1] You will have to research it. Give a try to http://sekosynergy.co.uk

2] Setup Paypal as well as credit card (Use Shopify or Woocommerce for setting up your e-store. They already come with the options of Paypal and the credit cards)

3] Begin targeting customers in the UK. Go international only after establishing your firm presence in the UK and after conducting the feasibility study of going international.

4] No, it's not. These are the number of pages indexed in Google. In order to know about the keyword search volumes, visit Google keyword planner tool here:

    https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner

Make sure that in the country, you remove the United States and select the United Kingdom
(we only need to know about keyword search volumes in the UK)

5] .com will be beneficial within the UK as well as internationally (in any country searches)
.co.uk will be beneficial only within the UK

The best practice is to either grab both the .com and .co.uk
OR at least .com domain since it will appear in any country searches.

Buying only .co.uk is not an option since, if somebody else would grab the .com domain
then you would be in problem. Since .co.uk will keep your website within the UK.

When running an eCommerce, the best way for you to ship the products is through invitation of the third party companies that have ventured into shipping. This will help you get rid of the key problems related to shipping. On matters of payments, the best way is to incorporate paypal as the major online payment method. You can as well employ the use of cheque and direct bank transfer. Having multiple choices widens the target audience and which as a results increases customers. For a start, you can have a shop restricted within UK but after sometime, make it a world wide shipment store. You will get lots of returns.

Thanks! What do you mean by "ventured into shipping"? You're talking about new companies? What are the key problems?
