Hey guys if you currently run a profitable shopify store. I would really appreciate learning about how you got started. What course(s) you've tried etc.. I'm really interested in ecommerce but have no idea where to start, a lot of these courses don't teach you enough. Thanks in advance guys.

  • I think they have several tutorials available on Shopify's blog. They are extremely easy to understand and plus you can save yourself from being misled

    Hope you get there soon.

    Hi Jeremy,

Trying to come up with a winner right off the bat is unlikely to happen.

It doesn't matter the platform or the niche.

What matters is trying things and testing and not giving up when things don't go as planned.

Personally I've set up a multitude of online stores, affiliate sites, memberships etc.

Some have got legs and others have bombed.

Funny thing is even the bombs tend to work out OK if you keep things alive and survive long enough to get traction.

My suggestion is to try a few different things and build on what works.

Despite what anyone says (and I do sell training...)

...the best course of action and learning is doing.

    Nose to the grindstone...doing.

Courses are one thing but doing is where you succeed.

    Best of luck.

Running sTitch Leggings | East London's Original Meggings Company, not on Shopify (I wish we were!) but has been growing in sales over the past 3 years, we will sell 1000 pairs this year.

To be honest, I think we got lucky with the niche and it was good timing because it was mine and my three co-founders first attempt at business and we are still in business!

    I resonate with Oziboomer's advice....

LEARNING THROUGH DOING is your best approach with any business/marketing activity.

So find an approach and DO IT!

    Thanks
    Tom
