What is the most effective way for us to drive traffic? (site converting well)

We have a great product and a decent enough site. We're very happy with the conversion rate but we are having trouble driving sufficient traffic (considering the size of the target market).

What are the most cost and time-effective ways for us to increase targeted traffic? We don't currently rank on Google so that's obviously a priority. We want to get to 500 uniques / day. Any ideas?

It would help if you told us how you are currently driving web traffic?

I would leverage paid Social Media Marketing, Blogs/Videos, Display Ads and Google PPC.

Good point - All word of mouth right now.

Will look into all of the above options, thanks for the input.

The most effective way to drive traffic is to leverage the relationship and hard work of other marketers in the same niche as you/your product. (very targeted traffic)

The most common way to do this is to buy solo ads from reputable list owners/sellers.

You say that your sales page is converting, therefore any money spent will be recouped and hopefully you're profitable on the front end. Then your backend (upsells and email follow-up) should bring you the big bucks.

P.S. I'm assuming you're building a list from any traffic source coming to your site. (If you're not capturing leads via an opt-in or squeeze page, you are loosing big time. No asset, no stability)

Ok you tell for Paid SEO but current time paid works are not sufficient way for strong traffic on your site

  • There are many ways you can generate clean and genuine traffic for your website from targetted regions. Following are some of them:
    1) Start a Facebook group for each location, add customers from those locations.
    2) Start a blog on your website and post contents addressing to the locations you want to target.
    3) Share your contents on StumbleUpon.
    4) Answer relevant questions posted on Yahoo and Quora targeting keywords.
    5) Get a mailing list ready and send attractive monthly emails to clients.

Traffic is, beyond a doubt, a significant factor in the online income equation. However, it is not the only factor, nor is it the most important one – that distinction goes to the system in place to monetize that traffic.. There are two main ways to increase earnings: scale, or magnitude.

The more the traffic, the higher your income. Most website owners concentrate their efforts here, using the logic that 10,000 visitors make them $1,000 monthly, so doubling the traffic will double the income. In reality, visitor numbers will taper off in the majority of cases and the doubling of both visitors and income will remain a pipe dream.

The second factor is more subtle – increasing your payout for every visitor that already visits your website. Small ticket items that make you peanuts will never buy you that dream house – big ticket sales are the key to making big money online for most internet marketers.

It´s impossible to give you more help than this with the info you gave us, we really need to know more about your site and niche. Good luck!

You can also write articles, but put them on the forums that are in your niche, no article directories.

There is unlimited traffic available to you literally at the click of a button, you just have to pay for it. If your conv rates are good, estimate how much you can afford to pay per click.

Pick an ad platform...adwords and facebook are super powerful and easy to get started. Make a list of the attributes of your ideal customer (keywords, location, interests etc) that will allow you to target properly.

Create a test campaign with several ad groups, split up with different interest/keyword targeting, different ad creatives, etc. Run the different ad groups long enough to see what's working, double down on that, eliminate what isn't working, and run new test. Repeat ad infinitum...

PM me if you want some specific help. I have a course that I sell based on a Facebook sales funnel but I'll let you in for free if you give me a testimonial after...

You could try blog commenting. You can potentially drive some traffic from other websites back to your site from already ranking websites in the search engines which get decent traffic.

I agree with myproductlaunch.com's suggestion. You have to start with paid sources if you want to get sales right away and just make sure you can get a return on investment (ROI) from your campaign.

What is your conversion rate of your site?

What is your Average Order Value (AOV)?

    What is your profit margin?

What is the average CPC based on AdWords Keyword research tool?

Here is a basic breakdown of what you should be targeting, and an example of a campaign I am running for my ecommerce store (not hitting target).

400% Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) - TARGET

    Site Conversion Rate (CVR): 3%
    Cost Per Click: $0.75
    Total Clicks: $300
    Visits: 400
Conversions / Orders (based on CVR): 12
    AOV: $45 USD
Total Revenue (Orders x AOV): $540
    ROAS (Revenue / Ad Spend) = 180%
    50% Margin = $270
    ROI = -10%

So in this example, I am losing money with AdWords, as also illustrated in an above comment you need to get a higher dollar value item, but then for sure your CPC is going to go up. Answer the questions above, get an AdWords coupon (find one on ebay or someone on here I am sure has one) and test it out.

Learn AdWords by visiting their site and getting hands on. Don't let Google setup your campaign for you, you definitely won't make money, you need to find the best exact match keywords and phrases that convert sales on your site and then double down. If you have a larger catalog, you can also test out product ads by sending a feed to Google of your catalog and then you can setup a campaign for that as well.

If you can at least break even, hopefully you have a product or are in a market where your customers need to repurchase and you can remarket to them on email then the cost of acquiring a customer through adwords is worth their future value of revenue for your store.

If you can't make money or gain sales with AdWords in your market you may have a challenge growing your business or be in a very competitive market.

hi there - if i understand correctly you already have subscribers - perhaps you should think about bringing in some form of affiliate marketing where you give you subscribers the option to promote and win prizes or some sort of compensation for the efforts they put in, for example: when they refer a 100 people give them a voucher or WHAT EVER YOU ARE ABLE TO AFFORD AT THIS POINT IN TIME. sort of a word of mouth as they know your product.
