Ok so I'm in the process of looking for fulfillment centers in the US and was seeing if any of you had any suggestions on something stable/reliable that has history?I'm looking to buy and sell light bulk low profit items so I'm expecting around $5-20 profit excluding the fulfillment cost(financially strapped right now so buying low risk items lol).By the way, whenever I look up fulfillment centers to get a cost I never see cut and dry pricing, like do you pay monthly on top of the fees or.........?

Also:I don't plan on using fba anytime soon simply because I've read enough stories of them legally robbing people of their sources so I'l sell through there once I learn to make my own products.

I don't know much on the subject of fulfillment centers, but I know a little about FBA. The fulfillment opportunities and potential through Amazon's various channels and options make it a very powerful and viable option until you get your own product to market (or at least until you find something better.)

I know that while Amazon really does tend to run people over if a product or item becomes a good selling item, but I also know that it's rarely an overnight process for them to do this. They usually wait to see the sales metrics for products that aren't already selling. Then they have to go negotiate a deal, collect new inventory, and get it in to their ecosystem - all before they are a threat to you.

What matters most of all in this particular case is how long it will take before your private label product is ready to be sold.

Also, if you use Amazon for fulfillment rather than sales it could take a good deal longer before they steal your supplier or your product since most of what they monitor in regards to this topic is based around actual sales data (though there are probably many other things that factor in to their product sourcing process, such as organic searches, customer requests, etc.)

Further, if you only plan to sell this smaller item for a short time (I guess this depends on your projected timeline until you are able to begin your private label endeavor) then who cares if Amazon backdoors you on the supplier?

They generally only do this for items that sell decently or show some sort of market demand - which means two things for you. 1) You will get some good sales results from customers on the largest marketplace on the web, and 2) by the time they hijack your supplier, finish all of the paperwork, and get their own inventory stored and ready to sell, you will be working on selling your own products.

Just some thoughts that I hope are helpful. Best of luck!

I considered all of that but I mainly intend on selling on Ebay and work on my own website so I'll have a long term stable business.Amazon sounds like a great platform to make a living(more than ebay atleast in my eyes) but considering all you have to do to get approved for most of their categories makes it a little out of my league to care about which is another reason why I'd use it only if I had my own product since I'd have nothing to lose and I can provide everything I needed to get approved.

Are you looking for dropshipping or just fulfillment for your own products? I can suggest a few places that can help you as far as dropship, but know none other than Amazon to carry your inventory for you.

Good luck! Let me know if you would like those suggestions. I've had some good luck with them over the years.

I was looking for just fulfillment, think I might have found one though. They pretty much won me over since they have automation on almost every cart platform out(if not every).Far as the dropshippers go I'm open ear for them too since I still will be doing dropshipping on test products or products I just flat out don't wanna buy/can't afford in bulk.
