    Hi Miken,

There are many free software available online, using this software you can remove or add a background. As you mentioned in your question, you want to upload photos on online store (i.e. Amazon) and for that you need accurate & perfect images. So I would suggest hiring an image editing expert who can complete your needs & deliver best suitable quality output.

They do it for a very low price.

If you want to do it yourself you can use GIMP or photoshop or an automatic tool but that doesn't work with complicated photos.

Picmonkey.com is a free online image editing platform that will do it for you.

I like to also use GIMP, a free photoshop-like software that will also do what you need.

Nothing beats taking several professional photographs of the product in the first place.

You can always edit an image in Photoshop or another editing software but if you own the products that are being sold you could do yourself a favor and get the best images from the outset.

    Online....images sell.

If your's are better then you will improve results.

In one of my businesses we noticed the increased use of reflectors like these V-Flats Photography Reflectors | Foamcore Australia to assist with getting perfect lighting for not only portraits but commercial product shots.

It's not as easy as it seems to do it well. I'd hire it out to someone who does it professionally or you could end up with jagged, bad looking photos. Photoshop and Gimp are both online tools to do it, but like I said ... getting good results is not that easy.
