Hi guys,
I am a newbie in this kind of business - my own online store of handmade gifts. I am selling them already and now understood I need my site for it. It almost gets done already, but I have a problem to choose a shipping part of the site and payment method. I would like to start from Paypal, a check, Money Order method now, and then to add a credit card method also. I live in Florida and I would like to sell only in US. I do different gifts for any happy events for any genders and ages, starting from baby shower gifts. Please, help me to understand what kind of Shipping Methods and Extension оr calculator for WooCommerce would be right for me to choose. I like the idea, what Etsy does. Would be very appreciative for any help.
Thank you in advance.

Thank to everyone for advice. I have bought this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/table-...r-woocommerce/ and installed it . It looks like it works great, but it takes a lot of time to manually put all this info in it ( zip codes for each 50 states plus this shipping rates for all this 50 states on 3 different wights of my gifts. Is their an easier way to make work without manually adding all the information. Maybe I don't know something and there is some magic tool to help me to make it faster...

Can you charge a flat rate based on weight and also raise your product prices $1-$3 to cover shipping? Entering zipcodes for each city sounds tedious. Hopefully, someone has an answer for you.

This is what I decided to use also. Thank you again, but I had to put all state rates manually...

We always recommend adding the average cost of shipping to the price of your products and having "free" shipping. The #1 thing people look for when buying online is free shipping and not knowing the total price before checking out is the #1 reason for cart abandonment.

If your prices are already high, nobody is going to notice an extra amount added to that price to cover shipping. They are definitely going to notice it when it gets added during checkout.

The weight of the product may not be as important as the size. Are they too large to ship in a large USPS flat rate box?
