Amazon Product Listing Optimization

Hello,

I created a new Amazon Product Listing/Store for my products that have been selling very well on Etsy. I was able to get a majority of my products ranking on the 1st page of Etsy by getting reviews, filling out the descriptions, tags and Titles with keyword rich content and Advertising on Etsy in the beginning & during the holidays.

My question is for Amazon experts on how to increase the visibility on Amazon product listings. I did some preliminary research online which says the same thing about filling out the descriptions, details, keywords, titles and most importantly getting reviews.

1. How do you recommend getting those first initial reviews when no one can see/trust your product?
2. Is it beneficial to upgrade from a free sellers account to the Professional account that costs $39 per month? (In terms of search visibility)

Thank you

Well it doesnt matter its about getting the quality reviews and time of seller and quality of products delivered to the customers . You need to work slow as amazon is really harsh on fake reviews and other stuffing but you can definitely work on page to get the results .

Answers in the order you asked them:

    1. Give away your product for free to people who are willing to review them. Make sure that the reviews are genuine. Find the kind of people who would buy your product in forums, on blogs etc and simply approach them.

    2. Yes. Amazon likes vendors who spend money with them. It's also a reason to use FBA.

    Good luck with your venture.

Thanks for the tips mairsol and Zanyzebra, I appreciate the advice.

I will start by getting some legitimate reviews to get the ball rolling.

Do you know if Amazon treats the "Professional" accounts differently than the free Seller accounts?

Hard to justify the $40 per month while starting up slowly
