Hello

Please i need info on creating real Estate website that will allow users to register and and make post or make a listing of house for rent, buy etc. in all State in

Any idea on

1- What platform is normally used e.g wordpress,joomla,etc
2- Is it possible to use WordPress? Note users have to register ,login to be able to post .
3- See sample site here ToLet.com.ng .Is this made from WordPress?
4- Talking about hosting size, what disk size do you recommend, just thinking what size because many users will be posting a lot.

      -It’s Not online space rental script
      - It’s not a site with Buy button(no online Purchase)

      But simple sites that will allow any registered member to post items(cars and house) they have for sell for free.(mainly Cars and Houses) Just Like Post Free Ads. No one pay online, Seller and buyer meet offline in person before making a purchase. Any member who post items for sell have to provide, The State, Details of car or house, Contact Number and name.
      Also, Buyer don’t necessary have to register, Buyer can search base on State, Cities etc.
      Since the site is about connecting buyer and sellers in same locality, It prevent fraud because buyer have to physically see and inspect the item before making payment.

    Hi Mate, do you know any PHP? What kind of skills are you good with? Building a website regardless of platform choice is going to be difficult without any prior training in the required code.

    I would suggest PM me and we can discuss what would work best for you. The best news though is that a website like this only takes 6 hours to create at the most and you can be up and running in no time at all.

    It depends on whether you want to make it yourself or you will hire someone. It might cost you differently. If you are going for outsourcing the development then it depends on your budget. But if budget is not an issue or in the case that you are going to make the website yourself and you have the required skillset then i woud suggest PHP.

    I would definitely use Word Press. With the wide range of plugins that are available you can pretty much create the exact type of site you want for this.

    Select the domain, load word press onto it and start playing around with the plugins that will fulfill your needs. There will be a bit of a learning process to go through but it will be worth it.
