Hi guys,

What can I do if a company that sells a products that I wish to market for them because of the nature of the website I own, doesn't have an affiliate program?

Kind regards,

Calvin

Well you are in the eCommerce Sites, Wholesaling & Drop Shipping section so.. drop shipping? You can set your own price, not the 5-20% some affiliate programs offer. But you have to collect the payment yourself.

Simply you can discuss the situation with them and offer them to build an affiliate program for their product in return for you promoting their stuff.

And for affiliate script you can try and install something free like Affiliate Management Software :: eLitius Affiliate Management Software , and if you don't know how just hire someone from Upwork.com to install it for them.

Have you contacted the company and asked about selling their products?

Have you got an account with the company and got any history of selling similar products from other companies?

Have you got any trade references from other businesses who you currently do business with?

If you have evidence that you can sell a product most companies are happy to do business with you.

You may have to start to as a C.O.D. account and as you develop a purchasing history and can demonstrate your ability to both pay for and move product then you may be able to open a credit account with the business.

If you are confident you can sell the product then buy some stock from them and sell the product.

My company frequently does business with many other businesses who both use our products themselves and who also on-sell our products as retailers.

When someone first approaches us to do business one thing that distinguishes the real clients from the tire-kickers is an ability to pay.

After someone has paid upfront consistently over a longer period we then take them more seriously when they want to discuss credit arrangements and other benefits of the relationship they have established.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

I think simplest way is for you to send an email to their customer support or contact us page and state the reasons why you want to promote their site. This way, they might come up with the idea of providing you a chance to earn while promoting their site as well.
