Can't decide.. need advice

Hi all

I'm wanting to get into a new e-commerce store, but I've tried amazon and is left with the feeling the commission is too low for what I'm wanting.

The idea of drop shipping intrigues me, but in reality, I would like to see either an affiliate program that has higher commissions (eBay looks promising but can't find a good solution without having to pay 99$ for a plugin to import products on my WordPress based site.). OR try to find a dealer that gives me good prices and I can sell them on my site for more profit (30% commissions +)

Any input to help me decide would be great, currently, my site is set up with AliPlugin, but I don't like the whole redirect to Ali express when clicking on images or adding one product to cart and low commissions.

    Hello, Andre.

As you want to get the most profit out of every sale of your products, I'd keep looking for a dealer to get bigger comissions.

The wordpress website you mention is the one in your signature? Looks pretty well made. Congrats on this one!!

I've concluded with that myself, why to profit at 8-10% when you can with some more work profit at 50%.
Thanks, Juan, it's the first site I've made and I think it turned out okay, some tweaks are still nessesary, but it's an SEO project so I'm not driving any traffic to it, only organic search

  • I think selling it on your own website or posting it to eCommerce sites should help you gain more profits instead of any drop shipping options.

    Good luck.

Thank you for commenting, I'm planning on selling other people's products on my own website, but want to find a manufacturer that I can sell for that can do the shipping & handling.

That's what I'm going to do.

How has been results with your SEO strategy?

You can get more exposure and brand awareness by posting your products on other ecommerce sites, just like eluminoustechnologies said.
Currently ranking good for some specific keywords, but got a lot of good backlinks now so I will see soon if I can get ranking on some high competitive keywords on first page.
