Integrating shareasale api into catalog site
I'm at a loss there seems to be no easy way to do this with Joomla / Wordpress / Magento or any other way.
What we're trying to do is make a comparison / review / spec site that displaces prices and is linked to our shareasale affiliate ID wherever the product shows. We've seen this in action on sites, but it was all custom coded.
The product would show and on the right side is a column of shops selling that product with all of the prices for the product. These were pulled through shareasale api.
When products show in a grid or list, a price would show as well that could be clicked on to bring you to the shareasale merchant.
So what's it take to get this kind of functionality. Frankly it's shocking this isn't already a widespread used plugin/extension. Really need to have it custom coded?
Thanks for any advice. Have spent the last 2 weeks talking with developers and finally decided best way is to use Joomla or Magento and mod/plugin rather than build a review site from the ground up...
