Help a newbie - Amazon FBA Vs Shopify?

Looking to get out of the J.O.B. and start working online. Which of the above options offer the following:

(1) Quickest path to success
(2) Lowest financial investment
(3) Most newbie friendly

      In general:

      First, amazon.

      Sometime later, add shopify.

      This is generally how most find success. Amazon is the easiest platform because it's all done-for-you and has a massive following (not to mention public trust).

      Shopify, for many, supplements their amazon income (and diversifies risk) but doesn't usually surpass it.

    Amazon FBA and Shopify are 2 totally different subjects. Get familiar with them first.

    (1) and (3) don't exist.
    (2) Signup for an Amazon free seller account and start exploring it.

    As with building any business there is a lot to learn. This forum is a great learning resource, You can use the search feature to look up any topic.


    Amazon's FBA has many advantages to it, such as huge buyer traffic on their site every day. My suggestion is to start small, learn the business and build it up from there. Adding Shopify later could make a lot of sense as well.
