it is a tough business - you do sell your product but you never make make any meaningful money, never establish relations with your customers, and amazon would be very happy to steal your data for their own benefit

  • Its a really risky business to dropship on amazon. I am an FBA seller for over a year now and tried dropshipping a few products from china. Got crazy number of orders as the price was low and i struggled to keep track of everything and i got my seller rating affected really bad because of delayed shipping and almost got my account closed. Never ever try to dropship directly from china if you dont want your account banned. You can always use your own wp or shopify store to dropship products and earn aplenty. Lookout for forums that deal with aliexpress and wp

    I Do.

    It works for me.

Yes, Amazon are very strict and quickly get rid of bad sellers. The answer to this is be a good seller.

Don't try to sell fake items.
Don't list anything unless you are 100% sure that it is as described and pictured.
Don't try to lie about the location of your items as the post mark doesn't lie and Amazon will ALWAYS listen to their customers before you.

If you are drop shipping from China then change your settings to say so, a lot of the Chinese sellers you see on Amazon are actually US based sellers drop shipping from China.

My advice would be to use local suppliers, by local I mean suppliers located in the same country that you are selling in.
