I have a website on which I sell PHP script and was wondering whether it's a good idea to place a comment box on the product page. A market research's or designer perspective on this would help. Let's face it customers can sometimes make stupid request, for example, "can I have your admin password". I was wondering would such comments affect the number of sales? Another great example would be, customer committing to buy a product only if a feature was added to the script. A commitment which they don't seem to take seriously; I end up with a list of features for the upcomming products, features which I take on board and implement. For some reason, I don't hear back from them after the new edtion of the product has been released and made public.
