'Hidden' discount code unlocked by email address - is it possible?

Hi there,

I generally find the answer to my questions on this forum (you guys are awesome), but I'm struggling with this one, possibly because I'm not using the correct terminology, so please feel free to correct me and I'll edit.

My question; I want to create a landing page that has a hidden discount code that unlocked only after someone enters their email - is this possible? Has anyone come across something like this before?

Alternatively, I could simply create an email that is sent to them as soon as they input their email, which is fine, but I don't love the disconnect - I'd like them to stay in the moment and continue directly to shopping, rather than checking emails.

Thought? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if that is possible but pretty much everything is if you hire a programmer who knows how to do it. Another idea is setting up a members-only social network profile that has the code pasted as a sticky at the top. When they click to join your Facebook page, for instance, they will be able to instantly see that code.
