FBA new product

Hi all, i am new to fba method, and i am currently during a period where i am looking for a product to sell.
I found a niche with 1 product that sells a lot! and i mean thousandth of dollars in sales but i see that there are almost no FBA sellers only private merchants that sell this product under the same label.
also i see that there are no reviews of this product and yet it sells very well.

My question is, is that a good sign? Is that mean that i can enter that niche and sell the same product under my label? will i have an upper hand if sell it under my label and get better reviews for it?

    I would say it is a very positive sign that the product gets a ton of sales. And yes, if you can get the product and have it white labeled as your own brand, soliciting lots of positive reviews, it would certainly help you sell more than the competition.

    But isnt it strange that no FBA seller is selling this product under his own label,
    I mean i am going through dozen of categories and i didn't see such a situation where there are so many sells but no FBA sellers..

    Would you invest money in selling such product in my place?
    Maybe i am just paranoid : )

      My assumption would be that many people take the easy or safe way out. There may be a significant minimum order quantity involved to white label a product and it is easier or far less of a risk to buy a non-white label version. Also, for all we know, all of the places could be dropshipping them and not buying any bulk at all (which, in most cases, would be the only way to get a manufacturer to white label products).

      Perhaps there are legal reasons there are no white label versions of this product. There may be a patent that makes re-branding it impossible.

      Then still, there may be no manufacturer set up to make these other than the one that exists and they will not white label the product.

    It appears to be a very good sign that the items gets good sales.


    The fact that there are currently no FBA sellers may mean something. It could be that there is a reason Amazon does not allow FBA, such as a Haz Mat reason. Or if it is a large in size item, people may not want to pay for storage of a large item in the Amazon warehouse.


    You should not assume you can sell it via FBA until you know for sure.
