Newbie in Dropshipping..Advise

First, it does not exclude advertising costs. If you want to immediately start making money with a website, you better advertise. We work with people all of the time who want to pay for advertising but they simply do not make as much money on a sale as the advertising costs.

Second, one of the people who needs to be paid is you. I would hope you value the time it takes to process an order, either pack and ship it or order it from a dropshipper, send tracking information to customers, deal with customer questions and answers before and after the sale, etc. at more than a few bucks. I'd rather make $100 per hour than $10-20 per hour. You cannot ignore the hundreds of hours put in building a website, getting backlinks and marketing it before the first organic sale occurs, as well. Finally, if you want to eventually outsource all of the operations so that you have your time free (perhaps to build the next website), you are not going to be able to do that making a few bucks per sale.

Everybody values their time differently. Ours is worth at least $20 per order.
