Ebay drop shippers - what's your strategy?

I'm a drop shipper on Ebay for roughly 2 months now and I'm currently at some point where I should determine a strategy for my business. Last month I received around 10 orders daily, this month I'm struggling getting 10 orders a week.

These orders mainly came from 2 listings so I might need to expand, however I'm not exactly sure how since Ebay is full of competitors.

So what do you do to keep your Ebay orders consistant? Do you list as many items as possible or do you have a niche and stick to it? How do you compete with fellow Ebay sellers? etc.

Any advise or experience is appreciated, thanks

Ebay probably just capped you,it's one of the downfalls of being a marketplace seller. From what I've put together Ebay one way or another has hidden limits whether they are to legitimately limit you until they feel you're ready to progress or you're apart of the scramble they did to the search results to give other sellers a chance. Not sure which is true but seeing as alot of people have been through weird sale throttles I can believe one of them is the reason why.

I'm working on my websites for pretty much this same reason,Ebay and Amazon can control WAY too much of your business and when something goes wrong you become the one who get's all of the crap(besides, long term the most you can be on Ebay and Amazon is a high ranking flea market and mall seller).Majority of the brands my suppliers have are on the vero list and when I talked to the people at microsoft it's honestly as if they don't care if you sell their stuff just have authentic merchandise but Ebay makes it seem a completely different way if they catch you.

      Thanks for your reply.

You have some good points and I'm getting sick of the big influence Ebay has on my business especially because they favour clients way more than sellers.

I'm considering starting a new project but drop shipping has its flaws and it is quite hard to start something with little to no budget.

      Any suggestions?

I remember when I had started a few test affiliate websites each costed me like maybe 30 something tops for the domain, hosting, and whois for my first year on namecheap(didn't get an email but I was just testing seo and just getting my feet wet).In the process one of my sites was an ecommerce affiliate store and used nothing but free plugins on wordpress and had pretty good results.I'm gonna start up some more websites for e-commerce now once I get all of my planning out of the way and woocomerce is gonna be the way I more than likely go again since the seo free plugins work,it's fairly easy, has more than enough developers who constantly add on the plugin library and more.
