eCommerce Platform for sale with no current revenue...Worth?

Is the Design and Custom Developed eCommerce enough to dictate value in this market?

I have currently listed the following site forsale:

Although there is currently no revenue I still feel that there is an incredible amount of value to warrant the higher sales price.

Items of perceived value: Brand, Portfolio, Social Media Platforms, Custom eCommerce, Turn key solution.

What are your thoughts?

Websites are usually only worth paying for that have a track record of profits. Typically, this is somewhere between 12 times and 30 times what the monthly net profits are (it varies widely based upon the niche, the site's growth rate and the perceived longevity of the niche). In this case that would be zero. I don't imagine this will fetch a very high bid. In the end, like all things in life, it is worth what the highest bidder is willing to pay for it.

Hey Dave, thanks for your reply!

I wanted to update you, and anyone else following along on how it turned out.

I ended up selling that particular site for full asking price after it had only been on the market for a couple of days.

I could not agree with you more.

The buyer in this situation saw value in A) The brand that I had developed and B) The turn key platform that I had developed as well.

Ultimately, given both parties interests, this turned out to be a good deal for everyone involved.
