Hello guys.
I run a company that sells skin care and hair loss products, our main product is the dermaroller. I have been in this business for the last couple of years selling mostly in the europe market.

I decided to try running an online ecommerce website to reach new markets (USA - Australia - UK - UAE .... ).

Here is the website I made https://dermashop.store/
I have ran several facebook and instagram campaigns but I think the website needs more improvements to convert well.
Please checkout my website and if you have any advice post below.
Thank you

    Hi,

Did you hire a web designer for your site or was it a DIY job?

Are you getting any sales from it?

Usually you might want to focus first on design and make sure you have at least three core components right.

The headline, the offer and the call to action.

There are many components to making a successful design that converts.

You list some features and benefits but there is no emotional attachment to any of these.

You may want to consider how you can take the visitor on a personal journey towards improving their skin so [ enter desired EMOTIONAL outcome here].

I'm sure there is lots of potential given the niche your product fits into but you have some work to do to identify how to set up funnelling prospects down the right path for them so they feel the product is exactly what they are looking for.

It is just my opinion but the page is a bit of a mess and it doesn't appear that you have a strategy to move prospects to convert.

    best regards,

    Ozi

I agree with Oziboomer, I would focus more on the emotional side and leave the technical aspect for the client to choose what is best for him.

Because you offer one product with different variations (basically), then it's better to combine them all into one product and give the option to select the variation needed before adding to cart / checkout. The home page should focus on selling one item at the end of the page.

The domain name isn't so good imo, com are very popular especially for ecommerce.

Besides there are small things like the BUY button in the home page banner, I stumbled on it by accident.

    Good luck!

Hi Ozi congrats on your site.
Have a close look at your competitors to see how they are structured and setup. Reachout to an seo company to help with your traffic. Keep getting better and better.

Is right, you got a lack of emotional
    trigger.

The video need to come later on the page after
They feel comfortable and hot on the product.

and the lack of testimonial gives the feeling of distrust
they have to trust you before they buy.

From what I have seen it looks like
it has the potential and the product look
    very neat.

    Wish you all the best!

    Hey Simobens,
First impression is you need a stronger cta on hero slider. What you have blends in the background too much. Ozi nailed it. You need a stronger headline also.
I would not recommend driving traffic to this site. You either need to create a presell page, or an offer page separate from this.

Alway keep your traffic sources in mind when building anything out. Where are they coming from, what are they looking for, how warm are they?

I hope that helps in some way!

Why there is no extension like .com .in .us etc in your website? I think it is better to have one to rank in Google search engine result pages. Anyways, I think I need to refresh my knowledge, may be I'm wrong. Anyways, congrats to your website. May you get profit in your online e-Commerce website business.

Finally someone with a somewhat unique concept. I really like that you focus your store around one product and try to market it accordingly. However, like the other guys said, I would focus on the emotional message behind this. Especially your pictures and videos could be improved a bit regarding quality, as well as the logo.

But if you manage to identify a fitting target group and have an appropriate marketing budget, this might be a working thing. Don't expect too much too fast though, and focus on branding and retargeting and not the quick buck.

It's been two years since I've started my own e-commerce site, and that experience changed my perception towards the industry. Good that you have chosen a single unique product to market on your site, which narrows the heavy competition.

However there are many aspects one should concentrate besides just gaining sales. Your primary focus is to be on the target group which in your case are people prone to acne, aging etc., Find them and market your solution to their problem. Do an industry research on how your competitors work, and aim to excel amidst all the competition.

The next best thing to do is to improve your website i.e get the best UI possible. Make it appealing in a way that it attracts the prospects and helps to convert them.

Work on ways to promote your product into the market. Start with a problem and convince them that the right solution to the problem is your product.

Hope these tips would help build the right customers to your product.

    Hi simobens,

Your website hero unit has major issues. The headline is positioned so far to the left that the first word isn't even visible. there are also 2 glaring typos. This is effectively your homepage's headline, arguably the most important element on the page for your sales copy and it has major problems, it has got to be killing almost all chance of getting conversions from desktop users.

You have to scroll down the page a bit to find the first CTA (Call-To-Action) and it is barely noticeable. It reads "Buy Now" yet there is no price shown at this point nor anywhere above this point. You are literally asking people to buy without showing the price. either put a price next to it or change the CTA to something more appropriate.

The best looking and most functional section of your page is near the very bottom, where you have a more traditional product catalog look, including the 3 essential elements, a picture, a price, and a buy now button. It would be nice to see that a bit closer to the top, as I'm sure you are losing many readers before they get to the best part of your page near the bottom.

I agree with the other comments about your sales copy lacking a motivating message. It doesn't have to be emotional but it needs to be a value proposition that matches up with why most people buy your product. What your sales copy lacks are the specific reasons why people buy your product. You hint at it in the poorly formatted headline, make it more prominent throughout your sales copy.

    For example:

Get Clearer Skin... Order Your Dermaroller today!

    See how easy that was.
