Dropshipping From China Under Trump Tarrif

I would like to know if under the Trump Administration if i were to dropship products to the USA and a tariff is imposed on imports would it have an affect my prices?? Trump is saying up to 45% on imports.

    I think you need to find out what really happens before you start worrying about this. Presidential candidates make all sorts of promises that are stymied by Congress. There has been no official declaration made by Donald Trump on what he will do about the trade imbalance with China and certainly no mention of a 45% tarrif that I have ever read. His transition team has eluded to a tarrif of "up to 10%" as being one of many possibilities. His Chief of staff mentioned 5% as being a possibility. These may also simply be negotiating positions that amount to nothing. Trump team floats a 10% tariff on imports - CNNPolitics.com

    For many reasons, dropshipping from China to the U.S. is hardly ever the best idea, regardless of whether there is a tariff or not. THAT is a more immediate concern. You'd be better off finding a U.S. supplier to ship to the U.S.
