Going out of my mind!

Sorry for venting the subject guys, but I am really in a jam with AliExpress. I had a Visa that I was using to purchase product from AliExpress, but wanted to use that particular card for something else, no big deal right, wrong!!!

Here's what happened:
I had an order come in from my website.
I went to the AE website and place the order entering my AMEX card.
I get a screen that says, "Payment Failed, Reason: System Error, Suggestion: The system is busy. Please try again."
I try again, I try like 4 or 5 times all same result.
I contact AMEX and they tell me everything is fine with the card, but don't even see an attempt from anyone to apply a charge.
I reach out to AE payments department through chat. They tell me that they're having an issue with AMEX at the moment and please use another card.
I try another Visa card I have, same result, won't process.
I'm told by AE to empty the cache and cookies from the browser, I do, same problem.
I have been using Chrome so I try Firefox, Opera and IE from Windows 10, all fail, same result.
I go back to AliExpress, and except for telling me how wonderful I am and how they are going to solve my problem, nothing has been done.

It's now Thursday and I've been trying to get through this since Monday. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this, and if so, were you able to solve it and how?

If the CC company tells you that your card is fine than the problem obviously appears to be at the AliExpress end. They do not have the ability to charge your card for whatever reason.

On a more general note you may want to look at some posts by ImportExport on this forum. He is an expert at buying inventory from China. You will find his knowledge to be very educational.

As I run an ecommerce community I have heard of this same problem many times. Most of the sellers changed their card and solved , as you've already tried with that so it won't work with you. It's the problem of Ali Express. Shoot them email. Sometimes an email rather than a call or chat work best.

If you cant get it off your card you will need to borrow it. Concentrate on what you can do and let the credit card company do their thing.
