Started a Dropshipping store for a month and have no sales

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and new to this online business.
I started my first dropshipping store couple weeks ago selling a certain style baby clothing. I ran Facebook ads for 1-2 weeks and have had approximately 50 people visiting my website each day but so far I've only got one sale.
I had a collection of bunny clothings so I made an Easter ad for the collection and yet theres no sales.

After looking at a couple of videos on youtube on how people do the dropshipping online stores, I thought it was due to the broadness of my baby products so I started a new store selling a certain type of beach towels.
One of the video said using the brands page to promote a post is better as it not only reach paid traffic but also organic ones, so I tried that for the towels for a week.
I got a lot of likes, shares and comments on the post but same thing happened ... there was no sales.

I am really unsure on what might have went wrong and what can be improved to at least generate some sales instead of none. Really appreciate some advices on this, thank you!

Actually, for a brand new website, that's really quite high. For the extremely low price point of these products, the conversion rate should be somewhere from 1.5& - 2%, so this site should be making at least 15 sales per month, if not 30 sales per month with that many visitors.

Of course, that would be from normal visitors who were searching for your products - visitors you will only likely get from organic search or paid ads on actual search engines. Many here refuse to believe it but nobody goes on Facebook looking for something to buy. They go there to look at kitten videos and bore people to death with pictures of their kids and what they ate for lunch.

Sure, they may click on your ad because it is interesting in some way, but they were not looking to buy your products, so they are barely in the sales funnel at all. Because of that, conversion rates from FB ads are usually 1/10 what they are from real search engines. So, assuming your prices are in line, I'd expect somewhere between one and 3 sales per month at 50 facebook-referred visitors per day.

FB ads are better for collecting information. Figure out something you can give away for free in exchange for an Email address - an eBook or a discount coupon, maybe. Then, start marketing to that Email list.

Thank you so much for the advice, I'll try to work on the SEO part for the website, but I suppose I'll have to start by collecting their email this way before I can do any e-mail marketing.

I've actually tried using google adword to advertise as well but no luck there either.
I believe the ad does the main drive to get customers to buy stuff, I've targeted a specific interest group that fits my target audience. My post had reached over 10 thousand people and had a lot of comments and likes, I'm actually quite surprise there wasn't even a single sale... No idea where went wrong...

I'm still looking around for courses that teaches online business but haven't found one near where I live sadly.

Actually no, for a one month old store 50 is not high at all.

My recommendation would be to stop watching videos online and invest in a good program teaching you everything.

You don't really need awareness in e-commerce. Of course if you can have it, it helps, but ultimately if you know how to run ads properly, you can MAKE SALES & build a following at the same time.

It is all about having good targeting. I recommend Facebook and Instagram. You can really target people properly in there and if your product is good and the targeting is good, you WILL make sales. The website is important too of course.

I recommend to start with free + shipping offers to start so you give the Facebook pixel a lot of data (easier to make sales with these) then when your pixel is smart enough you can start selling at a higher price.
