Hello,

I'd like to hear your thoughts about ads on eCommerce shops. Why did you go with ads? And why did you not?

And to people who have gone both roads, how did it affect your conversions? And what type of ads were they?

    We definitely are AGAINST ads of any kind on an eCommerce website. Your site exists to sell your stuff - not to make a piddly little commissions off of other people's stuff. Why take the chance that they head off to another website and never make their way back to yours for a little bit of affiliate or AdSense commission?

    We have no problem linking to other websites' stuff in follow-up EMails AFTER they have placed an order, however.
