Hi everyone!

I am a new marketer in drop-shipping with Shopify store + Facebook ads. I have spent a few hundred US dollar for Facebook Ads but I haven't got any sale yet. Can anyone share a little your experience on how to target audiences in Facebook ads?
For example, I would like to promote a charms bracelet. How can I target my customer?
- Should I choose Interest liked by people who like thing related to jewelry?
- Should I choose Interest liked by people who like thing related to Bracelet?
- Should I choose people who like online shopping?

Please share me your ideas

Many Thanks!

There are many factors to your no convert result. It can be your headline, pictures, description, target group and some other factors.

What I normally do is focus on one product then I do split test. Split test process may take some time, but I will explain how I do the targeting. Usually I will do research and write down a list of who are the customers will be interested in my products.

Example for your charmed bracelets, I will usually start with customers that I can easily think of, example young lady or people interested in bracelets. Then I will start to niche down to because interested in bracelets is too huge will waste my money on ads. So I will niche down for example charmed bracelets.

Once I have list of those I can easily think of then I will think of other niche group which is related. Example valentine time gift, girlfriend gift, or mother day gift, or boyfriend gift to girlfriends.

Then once I have the list, I will check out whether facebook have the target group I want or similar.

Hope this quick tip will help you.

newbieleoling is right on what they are saying but you can also go a lot further with your facebook ad. For instance just your charm bracelets look like any other charm bracelet that is already out there if so target them groups and sell yours as a cheaper option. Also throw in a promotion people love a good promotion if they think they are getting a bargain. Put your prices up 10% and say they are getting a 10% discount on everything for the next 72 hours so they need to be quick. This is a hard sell tactic but if used right can be quite profitable. You don't lose out on the initial price because you put it up the same as the discount. With your ads they need to really stand out, use power words were people can really see it. If i was you i would focus in on the age groups as well don't waste ads on say 65+ because they are less likely to buy a charm bracelet, focus more on the younger generation then your ads will get more hits with people who actually might buy the bracelet instead of wasting them on people less likely to buy. Hope this helps.
