Need tips and advice for my new eCommerce business

Hi warriors!
I recently found this forum and I can say I'm very glad to be a new member and appreciate all the support I can get! I will be active in this forum as much as possible through my journey!

To start with, I'm still a student studying innovation and business development at a university in Europe (I have only finished 1 year and 2 tears to go) following my passion for business. I have put a lot of time in learning business and all kind of skills related to business, specially psychology and sales in business but I still have alooot to learn! Like finding helpful technology and how to use them for eCommerce business, strategy and new business model

Atm I have just started a webpage called guavano (a dot com site) and used squarespace...I know I did not read a lot regarding templates..i knew about shopify but as a student is budget limited..(but will upgrade as soon as I get money)
The site is still going through som optimization for mobile device.. as I mentioned I'm still learning how to use technology and have low skills we coding etc..still learning though.

but my questions to you warriors is, do you have any tips or guides I can learn from?
maybe shift from wholesale to drop shipping? (I buy stuff from alixpress to my country and sell them worldwide through my website) maybe its just a big detour?

I spend every singel day learning for 6-8 hours, even on holidays as this is my passion.
I appreciate all help I can get!
in return I will give all my knowledge and help others as much as possible because that is also my passion. I will share my journey from nothing to something

          sorry dave_hermanson if i still dont find it.. im gusseing you mean "free eCommerce course" in the reply, but when i search up "free eCommerce course"it in the searchbar it only pops up other treads with the same keywords. Maybe im fooling around but im still new in this forum and keep learing how all things work around here

    Hey Fam!

    Let me tell you this. If this is truly your passions you won't count the hours...it will easily become part of your life because it isn't work perse...

    Secondly, marketing your products is your biggest concern, because making an ecomm website has been made easy already, I mean there's shopify there's all sorts of stuff you can use to get your store up and running by tomorrow. So marketing is really the biggest challenge us newbiepreneurs will face...

      hi! yeah thats absolutely true! i have been diving in sosial media marketing for a bit now, like facebook and instagram.. specially instagram.. i allways end up with the shoutout strategy for boosting the account's traffic are the most effective way to market through instagram, maybe there are other ways that are much better using new tools etc.

    Hi, I just checked your site and wow it's really a nice site.

    With limited budget I think you better use instagram as your marketing tool, because currently instagram is the social media with the highest engagement level

    What I would advice is that you should be 100% mentally prepared for the challenges that are forthcoming. You are starting a new ecommerce site, there will be turns of ups and downs along the way, but never give in.

    I often see many new entrepreneurs throwing the towel on their ideas for very petty reasons. 'I don't understand SEO' 'I'm not good at coding' 'I don't have capital', etc. There are always a million reasons not to do something. Sorry my advice is not on specific strategies which you can implement, but I am sure that you will uncover those on your own. I just want to encourage you to remain strong and positive, despite the difficulty of the challenges that you will face. 2 years ago I knew nothing about websites or ecommerce, but now all my sites are doing pretty good because I put in the work and never gave up.

      thank you for strong words! i always get motivated of people like you mentioning to be strong and it always ends up in that direction, thats a postivite sign for me! i am sure i am mentally prepared for the ups and downs because its the part of the journey (also life ofcourse hehe) my biggest concern was the use of technology etc! and you guys have answered my questions! thanks for positiv reply and i will start 110% now and share my journey through this forum (all from negativt turned in to positiv)
