Sales from China to the USA on the basis of dropshipping

Hello!

What is your opinion about this type of online monetization. It's about selling products from Chinese suppliers (eg Alliexpress) in USA (eg e-bay). No goods for starters. They would be small size electronics products only. The product that would be purchased at my auction would be shipped from China directly to the target customer. The difference between the price on my auction and the real value of the commodity is my commission.

In Poland it is so that the goods must go through the customs office and over 150 euros is charged and from 22 euros VAT. From what I heard in the US there is no VAT and no receipts are required. The Chinese like do not issue invoices or receipts - "So is this legal or not? If you have any experience with such a business then please advice.

    Of course it is legal.

    It is called drop shipping and I have a course on it.

    You basically want to have a Shopify store, upload products from Aliexpress on it,

    Then you want to do Facebook ads to sell the products from Your store. When someone buy, the supplier from Aliexpress will ship the product directly to your client, and they won't put an invoice in the package so the customer doesn't know where it is coming from.

    I have quite a few online businesses and my drop shipping is where I put most of my energy because I'm literally killing it with it.

      I tried this recently and 50 percent of my first orders asked for refunds for shipping being so slow. I was using epacket and the seller quote was 12 days. 4 weeks later nothing and the tracking numbers were broken. How do you pick good shopping options?

        ePacket is a good shipping option. Estimated Delivery Time 12-20 days and costs a little.
        Where do you send your products?

          They were shipping to the USA. I think the sellers were sitting on them for days before they actually got sent. Do you have any problems with returns or chargebacks? I eventually just ordered a few of everything to my house so I could ship faster but it eats my margins pretty bad.

            You will find it near impossible to make a decent profit if you buy inventory from suppliers on Aliexpress.

            I have taught hundreds of people how to buy small quantities direct from genuine manufacturers in China and other countries.

            The margins can easily be high enough to cover air courier delivery to you plus postage to your customers, and still leave you a big profit.

              Funny because I'm selling items for $100 and I buy them for $4 (shipping included) on Aliexpress.

              I used to do what you are doing, ordering large quantities and selling them on Amazon (FBA) and I'm making way more money now!

                First, let me say that I am not importing anything since I retired a few years ago due to heart surgery.

                Second, you have assumed that I am ordering large quantities, but I don't. I teach my students how they can order small quantities direct from the manufacturers and they don't have to pay the retail prices on Aliexpress.

                Finally, my former franchisees are still, after being in business for many years, operating long term, sustainable businesses that give them around 4 times the average income in the 4 countries where they operate.

                They don't have to continually search for the latest "hot seller" and they don't have large numbers of unhappy customers complaining about ridiculously slow delivery and demanding refunds or making chargebacks.

    For some reason every time a dropshipping thread has mention of "shipping time" that fact gets ignored.

    As someone who buys most things online - I don't wait 20 days for anything. I've seen several references to "3-4 week delivery" in threads - that's crazy. I would think if the time quoted above is 'average' - you would lose a lot of sales to refunds. Do you give the estimated delivery on the order or confirmation page?

    I'm not a dropshipper but hard to believe the 'time factor' is not critical to this method's profitability.

      Nobody does, they bounce from the checkout page or get a refund and move on to a serious seller.

      The public feedback would be horrible for this IM drop shipping pipe dream.

    The shocking delays in shipping time and consequent chargebacks and refunds are ignored by those who are selling courses on how to make a fortune by dropshipping from Aliexpress.

    The dollar signs in the eyes of those who rush to buy the courses blind them to that serious problem. After all - huge profit claims are published.

    I'm facing problem with setting up Free item +shipping rate.

    I want to send the product for free but the delivery is not available.
    I set weight base rates to 0.2 lb then 0.4 lb etc. Rate amount 10.97 $

    In PACKAGES section is changed to 0.0 lb (Weight when empty)
