Why Do Product Photos Need Editing For E-Commerce Stores?

I have an online shop in Shopify, but I don't know why it says my product photos need editing for e-Commerce stores? Anyone know what this error means?

    Sometimes they are not the right size (if they are too large, it will slow down page load times) or they have other things in the images that you do not want in your photos. Many people like to edit the photos - perhaps putting a background or border around them - so that they look different than everybody else's images.

    I always use the exact same pictures and I in 99% of the time, I don't need to edit them.

      Same here, but occasionally - especially with some of those places on AliExpress - you need to edit out the seller's watermarks.

    Sometimes, we need to place the best quality of pictures as much as possible. There are times that the suppliers' images may be pixelated or with poor quality. Since we are the website owner of our own, we will have to do the best to make the images look at its best in the eyes of the the website visitors.
